(I) With effect from such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette fix in this behalf, there shall be established a Board to be called the Arunachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board for the purpose of this Act. (2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract and may, by the said name, sue and be sued : Provided that any lease, sale or transfer to any person or authority other than the Commission, of any immovable property belonging to the Board shall be void unless it is sanctioned by the Government.
