(I) The Government may on its own motion or on the recommendations of the Commission or the Board, by notification in the Official Gazette, specified any industry in addition to the industries, included in the schedule to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1956 (61 of 1956) as a Village Industry. (2) A copy of every notification issued under sub-section (1) shall be laid before the State Legislative Assembly, as soon as may be after it is issued.
