Powe6 of the State Government to call for information : (1) The S:tate Government maycallfor information from the University relating to its working, functions, achievements, standard of teaching, examination and research or any other matters as it may consider necessary tojudge the efflciency of the University in such form and within such time as may be prescribed by rules. 278 (2) The University shall be bound to fumish the information as required by the State Government under sub-section (1) withln the prescribed time.
