Advisory Committee : (I) The State Government may constitute separate Advisory Committees for Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, Adult Education, Teacher Education, Commerce Education, Art and Craft Education, Physical Education, Education of Girls and Women, and for such other disciplines as may be deemed necessary. (2) Each Advisory Committee shall consist of such number of official and non-official members, not exceeding nine, as may be prescribed. The State Government shall appoint one of the members to be the Chairperson of each committee and also appoint Secretary to each committee. (3) The powers and functions and term of office of the members of the Committee sh.1:11 be such as may be prescribed.
