Restriction of holding the memberEhip of the Authorities : ('1) Any member nominated to any ot the authorities under thisAct shall hold officeduring the deasure of the nominating authority concerned. (2) Any member nominated to any of the authorities underthisAct shall be eligible for being nominated authority concerned. (3) Any member nominated to any authorities shall be liable b be removed Jrom such membership at any time by the Chancelloron the ground ' of misbehaviout misconduct or other\^rise afier holding an enquiry: Provided that any member of any authonty shall cease to hold the membership on aftainment of superannuation. (4) A person shall be disqualified fo: being a member of any of the authorities or bodies of the university, if he/she: (a) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court, 355 (b) is an un{ischarged insolvent; (c) has been convicted of any offence invotving moralturpitude; (d) is conducting or engaging himselt in private coaching classes; or (e) has been punished for indulging in or promoting unfair practice in the conduct of any examination, in any fonn, anywhere. (5) Nohwithstanding anything contained in this Act but save as otherwise provided, any employee of the University, both teaching and non- teaching or ministerial shall not be eligible for nomination as a member of any authorities under this Act.
