Constitution of Governing Council - (1) There shall be a Governing Council consisting of the following members, namely:- (a) the Commissioner shall be the Chairman ex-officio; (b) (i) the Secretary to Government in the Medical and Health Department; (ii) the Secretary to Government in the Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) Department; (iii) Commissioner, Institutional Finances; (iv) the Director of Health and Family Welfare; and (v) the Vice-Chancellor of University of Health Sciences, shall be ex-officio members; (c) Five eminent persons belonging to medical profession or any other profession or members of the State Legislative Assembly nominated by the Government for such period as may be prescribed.
