The Registrar - (1) The Registrar shall be a whole time paid Officer of the University appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor on such terms as may be prescribed by the statutes. (2) He shall act as the Secretary of the Executive Council and the Academic Planning Board. (3) The Registrar shall have the power to enter into agreements, sign documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such other powers and discharge such other duties as may be prescribed by the statutes.
