Liability of the pawn broker for the acts committed by agents or employees - Where any agent or employee of the Pawn Broker contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or of any rule made thereunder or of the term and conditions of a licence granted or deemed to be granted whether with or without the knowledge of the Pawn Broker, the Pawn Broker shall without prejudice to the liability of the agent or the employee, be liable for the penalty' provided under this Act, as if the Pawn Broker himself has committed such contravention.
