Penalty for un-authorised use of titles - (1) No person shall add to his name any title, letters or abbreviations, which imply that he holds diploma license or certificate as his qualification to practice as a Para Veterinary and Allied Technician, unless,- (a) He has actually received such diploma or license or certificate; and, (b) Such diploma, license or certificate is recognized by any law for the time being in force in the State, or has been conferred or granted or issued by an authority appointed under this Act. (2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) shall on conviction be punishable, in the case of first offence, with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees and in the case of a second or subsequent offences, with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees.
