Power of Government to direct regulations to be made or to make regulations - (1) Whenever the Government considers necessary in the public interest so to do, it may, by order in writing thereof, direct the Board to make any regulations for all or any of the matters specified in section 112 or to amend any regulations, within such period as the State Government may specify in this behalf: Provided that the Government may extend the period specified by it by such further period or periods as it may consider necessary. (2) If the Board, fails or neglects to comply with such directions within the period allowed under sub-section (1), the Government may make the regulations or amend the regulations, as the case may be, either in the form specified in the direction or with such modification thereof as the Government may think fit: Provided that before so making or amending the regulations the Government shall consider any objection or suggestion made by the Board within the said period. (3) Where in pursuance of sub-section (2) any regulations have been made or amended, the regulations so made or amended shall be published by the Government in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette and shall thereupon have effect accordingly.
