Rights continued under section 11 not to be alienated without sanction - (1) Notwithstanding anything in this Act, no right continued under section 11 shall be alienated by way of grant, sale, exchange, lease or otherwise, without the sanction of the Government: Provided that where any such right is continued for the beneficial enjoyment of any land or building, it may be sold or otherwise alienated with such land or building, without such sanction. (2) Any alienation of such right in contravention of this section shall be null and void. (3) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), no forest produce obtained in exercise of any right continued under section 11 shall be sold or exchanged except to the extent provided by the order passed under sub- section (4) of section 11 in respect thereof. (4) Any person selling or exchanging any forest produce in contravention of sub-section (3) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.
