Powers and functions of Board of Faculties- The Boards of faculties shall have the following powers, namely:- (a) to make recommendation to the Academic Council regarding admission of students to the University; (b) to draw the curricula and courses and recommend to the Academic Council; (c) to recommend to the Academic Council conditions under which students shall be admitted to the degrees, diplomas and certificates; (d) to recommend to the Academic Council the establishment, amalgamation, sub-division and abolition of departments; (e) to recommend to the Academic Council for the recognition of the degrees, diplomas and other certificates of other Universities; (f) such other powers as may be prescribed.
