Penalty for giving intoxicating liquor or dangerous drug to child- Whoever gives or causes to be given to any child any intoxicating liquor or dangerous drug except under a prescription in writing of a Registered Medical Practitioner, or in case of sickness or other urgent cause, shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees or with both.
