Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the due wages of the petitioner for the period (15.06.2020 to 19.03.2022) for which petitioner worked as Sahayak in Ward No.6, P.WD.D and Jail Hospital, Jail No. 03; and b. Direct the respondents to engage the petitioner again on work so that he can earn and help his family;” 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has raised various grievances and the Court vide order dated 02.04.2026, directed the respondents to take instructions regarding existence of grievance redressal system. Mr. Tushar Sannu, learned counsel for GNCTD submits that as per Rule No. 1284 of the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018, there exists such a mechanism. 3. However, in the interest of justice, the Court deems it appropriate to direct the Inspector General (IG) to consider the petitioner’s writ petition to be the grievance to have been made on his behalf.
