(ORAL) Petitioners seek initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for alleged violation of the order dated 25.03.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-2905-2026 (Annexure P1). The operative part of the said order is as under:- “Let enquiry into the complaint of petitioners be conducted by Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, Punjab and the same be concluded expeditiously, preferably within a period of 01 month from today, by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law. Necessary action thereupon be taken, if so required. The material produced by the petitioners as also the CCTV footage of the police station be considered in the enquiry. In case Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, Punjab does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation (Annexure P-12), the petitioners shall be informed as per mandate of law.” 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr.Ravinder Singh Rawal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that compliance has been made. Learned counsel has placed on record compliance report by way of an affidavit of Sandeep Kumar Malik, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police on behalf of respondent No.1 along with orders of departmental inquiry, suspension and forfeiture of 2 years service etc. as Annexure R1/T to R6/T. Since the order dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure P1), as passed by this Court in CRWP-2905-2026, stands complied with as per the compliance report, nothing else is required to be done. 6. However, as requested by learned counsel for the petitioners, in case petitioners are not satisfied, they are at liberty to assail the above order in accordance with law or take appropriate remedy, in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
