Jain, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the petitioner’s sentence will be completed very soon, but in the meantime the jail authorities have rejected his application for parole. After a brief hearing, it transpires that the petitioner has only a few months left to complete his sentence in case FIR No.282/2022. In these circumstances, the present petition is disposed-of, granting liberty to the petitioner to apply for furlough which would be counted towards the period undergone; or instead, to complete the remaining sentence so that he is released once and for all.
