By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners seek police protection, in view of apprehended threats from their family members [respondent Nos. 4 to 7]. 2. It is stated in the writ petition that the petitioners have been in a relationship for the past five to six years and married each other on 23.01.2026. In this regard, a copy of the Certificate of Marriage issued by the Revenue Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, has been filed alongwith the writ petition. Copies of the Aadhar cards of the petitioners have also been filed, which show the date of birth of petitioner No. 1 as 24.06.1995, and the date of birth of petitioner No. 2 This is a digitally signed order. In these circumstances, Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned Additional Standing Counsel, submits that the phone numbers of the jurisdictional Station House Officer and Beat Constable, at the place of the petitioners’ residence, have already been provided to the petitioners. 4. As no further orders are sought, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not issued notice to respondent Nos. 4 to 7, and this order is not intended to reflect upon the veracity of the petitioners’ allegations.
