Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties. 3. Petitioner has filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:- “Under the aforesaid facts and circumstance the petitioner humbly prays that this Hon'ble court may graciously be pleased to, I. Quash the rejection order No.2438 dt.25.1.2024 as at Annexure-4. II. Direct/order that the services of the petitioner with effect from 1.6.1999 shall be regularized and counted as qualifying service for pension as per the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India order dtd.3.4.2025 in SLP No.7979 of 2024. Pass such other orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice. Page 2 of 2. And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.” 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that request available at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition is pending before Opp. Party No. 2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No. 2 to take a decision on the above request within a specific time period. 5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court while disposing the writ petition, directs Opposite Party No. 2 to consider and dispose of the request so available at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of this order. Petitioner is permitted to provide a copy of this order along with Annexure-8 before Opp. Party No. 2 for compliance. 6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
