Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioner seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.02 of 2026 corresponding to V.G.R. Case No.01 of 2026 pending in the court of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Keonjhar on the grounds stated. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. Recorded the submissions learned counsel for the respective parties. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that there is 49.30% DA as revealed from the FIR itself. Mr. Rizvi, learned counsel for the Vigilance Department submits a copy of the letter received from the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, Balasore Division, Balasore. Such instruction is received by letter dated 17th April, 2026 revealing therein that there is no need of any custodial interrogation of the petitioners. The above intimation further reveals that the investigation is underway. The letter and intimation received by the Vigilance Department is taken on record. Considering the submission as above and since the DA stands at 49.30 % only, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioners to surrender before the learned court below in connection with VGR Case No.01 of 2026 and to go on bail with the orders of the learned court below. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that in the event, the petitioners surrender before the court of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Keonjhar in connection with Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.02 of 2026 corresponding to V.G.R. Case No.01 of 2026 within a fortnight from today, they shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/-(rupees thirty thousand) each with one solvent surety for the like amount each with an additional condition that both are to co-operate the IO in the investigation without default. 6.
