The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the action of the opposite party No.2 in not considering his grievance and other villagers of Narayanpur under Rangeilunda Block in the district of Ganjam. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that a representation was submitted before the the opposite party No.2-Deputy Director of Mines, Berhampur, Ganjam under Annexure-1 seeking to stop illegal extraction of laterite soil and stone from the Government land by the miscreants thereby causing huge loss to the Government Exchequer and environmental pollution of the area through illegal blasting and heavy transportation of stone and soil. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the said representation is pending before the opposite party No.2. the same has not yet been considered. Therefore, the petitioner prays for appropriate direction to the opposite party No.2 to consider the aforesaid representation within a stipulated time. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and taking into consideration the nature of grievance made in the instant writ petition, this Court directs the opposite party No.2-Deputy Director of Mines to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner under Annexure-1 within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner within a week thereafter. 5.
