Mr. Surendra Kishore Thakur, learned Advocate for the petitioner taking this Court through the averments made in the show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the State as well as the University authority submitted that surprisingly the petitioner has been denied the benefit of new pension scheme on the ground that the Permanent Retirement Account Number has not been opened and no N.P.S. deduction was ever made and, as such, the petitioner is not entitled to get the benefit, but without there being any order communicating the same to the petitioner. 3. On the other hand, learned Advocate for the State and the University submit that in compliance with the order of this Court, a final decision has been taken with regard to Patna High Court MJC No.2070 of 2024(9) dt.03-04-2026 2/2 implementation of the new pension scheme and if the petitioner has any grievance, he has remedy available under the law. 4. Having considered the submissions advanced and taking note of the averments made in the show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the University, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to continue with the present contempt proceeding, accordingly the same stands closed. 5.
