This CRLMC has been filed for quashing the entire proceeding in Airfield P.S. Case No. 76 of 2015 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 1435 of 2015 pending in the Court of the learned SDJM, Bhubaneswar which arises out of 1CC Case No. 255 of 2015. 2. I.A. No. 1029 of 2026 had been filed supported by a joint affidavit of the petitioner and Opposite Party No.2 stating that the matter had been settled and to pass appropriate orders for disposal of the aforesaid case in terms of the compromise between the parties. 3. On 22.04.2026, when the matter was taken up, the Opposite Party No.2 had appeared in Court and submitted that although she admitted the signature in the petition, but was not agreeable for a compromise as the cases filed by the petitioner against her were still pending. This Court did not appreciate the conduct of the Opposite Party No.2 that after filing an application for disposal of the case in terms of the compromise, she was backtracking for which the I.A and CRLMC No. 2069 of 2015 was adjourned to today with the observation that attempt will be made for disposal of the CRLMC on merit since it is pending since 2015. 4. Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not want to press this CRLMC. 5. A memo is filed by Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel for the petitioner where it is stated that the petitioner does not want to press this petition. Hence, he may be permitted to withdraw the above case. The said memo is taken on record. 6. In view of the above, the CRLMC is dismissed as not pressed. 7. All interim applications stand disposed of. 8.
