The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s): (i) For quashing the notice dated 30.12.2025 issued by the District Land Acquisition Officer whereby the petitioner

(ii) For direction to the respondent concern to consider the claim of the petitioner and after local inspection and measurement fixed the valuation and pay the compensation to the petitioner for acquisition of his land bearing Plot No. 470, 469, 477. (iii) Further till the disposal of the claim of the petitioner respondent concern may be restrained from removing the structure and construction road on the aforesaid plot. And for any other relief (s) for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case. 3. The details of land stand incorporated in para-4 and read as under: (i) khata no. 255 and 256; (ii) plot nos. 475 (40 decimal), 476 (70 decimal), 477 (76 decimal) and 471 (1 acre); (iii) area- 2 acre 86 decimal, situated at mouza-Bouriya Gogama, Anchal- Dandhora, Katihar. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.2064 of 2026(4) dt.21-07-2026 3/5 though for preparing the Award for the land, the structure that is existing there, no payment is being made and the stand has been taken that it has come after the intention of respondent to acquire the land. However, submission is that it will suffice if the respondent no.04, the Collector, Katihar looks into the matter and take appropriate steps. 5. Learned counsel representing the respondents have no objection to it. 6. Having heard the parties, this Court allows the petitioner to approach the Collector, Katihar to agitate the matter who shall be passing a reasoned order in accordance with law after noticing all the relevant parties. However, this Court has taken note of the letter dated 11.02.2021 issued by the Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department (Land Acquisition Directorate, Bihar, Patna) (henceforth for short ‘the Revenue Department’) which has taken note of the fact that repeatedly, it has come to the knowledge that Six Men Committee recommendation are always set aside and as such taking into account the aforesaid fact, no further Six Men Committee should make recommendation and Clause-9 to this effect be deemed deleted. 7.
