This petition has been filed impugning judgment dated 05.04.2024 passed by learned Single Judge, whereby writ petition preferred by appellants, was dismissed and award dated 08.03.2017, Annexure P-6, passed by Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Rohtak, was upheld. 2. A perusal of order sheets show that on 12.11.2024, this Court passed the following order:- “Learned counsel for the appellants submits that reinstatement of respondent No.2 was not made out as has been directed by learned Tribunal vide Award dated 08.03.2017. Appellants are however ready and willing to settle for lumpsum amount be paid to the respondents. SHEETAL 2026.07.31 15:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment High Court, Chandigarh LPA-2057-2024 -2- Notice of motion, subject to deposit of Rs.1,50,000/- with the Registry of this Court by the appellants within a period of four weeks. List on 17.03.2025.” 3. On 14.07.2026, this Court noticed that amount had not been deposited and matter was adjourned to today. For the last more than 1½ year, no attempt has been made by appellants to deposit the aforesaid amount as a result of which, even notice has not been issued to respondents. A request has been made by counsel for the appellants for extension of time to make the deposit. 4. This court does not find any justification for grant further time and does not find any reason to interfere in the impugned judgment passed by this Court. 5. Letters Patent Appeal is dismissed.
