In this petition the petitioner is essentially seeking a direction to the respondents to allow him to perform his duties as Lecturer (Zoology) in the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Budhal and consider him for regularization after completion of the seven years of service. 2. This petition was considered by this Court on 5th October, 2018, when this court while issuing notice to the respondents also provided that the petitioner shall not be replaced by a similar arrangement. It seems that the petitioner may be continuing in terms of order dated 5th October, 2018 or probably has been replaced by engaging a permanent Lecturer in his place. 3. Whatever may have happen the fact remains that the petitioner has abandoned this petition and has not made any efforts for listing of this Case after 5th October, 2018. Today, when the case was called out nobody turned up to appear on behalf of the petitioner. 4. Dismissed for non-prosecution. 5. Interim direction, if any, subsisting shall stand vacated.
