NARASINGH Order No. ORDER 22.04.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The Petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.783 of 2025, pending on the file of learned J.M.F.C., Buguda, arising out of Buguda P.S. Case No.806 of 2025 for commission of the alleged offence under Sections 309(6)/311/3(5) of BNS. 3. Learned counsel, on instruction, submits that except the present BLAPL, no other bail application of the Petitioner relating to the aforementioned P.S. case is pending in any other Court. 4. Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhanjanagar by order dated 11.02.2026 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5. It is submitted by the learned counsel that the Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2025 on the allegation of committing robbery along with the co- accused of gold necklace, and Mangalsutra from the informant’s wife. 6. It is submitted by the learned counsel that in the meanwhile charge sheet has been filed on 22.03.2026 and the robbed articles have been restored to the Informant. Hence, the Petitioner may be released on bail. 7. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail inter alia that the Petitioner has been identified in the T.I. parade and he is admittedly an accused in Laxmisagar P.S. Case No.302 of 2018 under Section 379/34 of IPC. 8. In the light of the sequence of events as noted in paragraph-6 hereinabove, this Court directs the Petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin. 9. Additionally, it is directed that Petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every fortnight on such date and time to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin for the next six months Certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the Court in seisin. 10. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of. 11. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules. (V. NARASINGH) Judge Ayesha
