Cont P.No.2046 of 2026 J U D G M E N T Alleging that the order of this Court dated 12.01.2026 passed in W.P.Crl.No.1773 of 2025 has not been complied with, the contempt petition has been filed. 2.This Court, while disposing of W.P.Crl.No.1773 of 2025 vide order dated 12.01.2026, directed the respondents to serve the Referred Charge Sheet(RCS) notice on the petitioner and to file a closure report before the concerned Court. The said direction has not been complied with and hence, the present contempt petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. 4.The Inspector of Police viz., Rajith Kumar, has filed an affidavit before this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that since the petitioner refused to accept the closure report, there was a delay in filing the same before the concerned Court. Cont P.No.2046 of 2026 recorded from the petitioner's wife and her parents, was served on the petitioner who has also acknowledged receipt of the same. She would further submit that the respondent has expressed his unconditional apology for the delay which was neither wilful nor wanton and prayed that the respondent may be pardoned. 6.In view thereof, the order of this Court has been complied with and the closure report along with the enclosures have been served on the petitioner.
