ORDER When the matter is taken up for admission, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that against the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CONT P No. 2042 of 2025 __________ Page2 of 4 order dated 20.12.2023 in W.P.No.15355 of 2019, the respondent has preferred a writ appeal in W.A.No.1513 of 2024 before the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court and the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court, while admitting the writ appeal, vide order dated 29.06.2026, granted interim stay. 2. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that the Hon’ble First Bench of this Court directed that the writ appeal be tagged along with W.P.No.29932 of 2023 and connected batch cases, which are pending consideration before the Hon’ble Larger Bench of this Court. 3. The learned Government Advocate submitting as above placed before this Court a copy of the said order . 4. In view of the above said submissions, since the order alleged to have been wilfully violated by the respondents is the subject matter of Writ Appeal and the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court having granted interim stay and since, the said issue is stated to be pending consideration before the Hon’ble Larger Bench of this Court, this Court is of the view that the present contempt petition cannot be proceed with until the Larger Bench decides the issue. 5. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
