PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 16.04.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed seeking pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.414 of 2025 pending in the file of learned CJM. Sundargarh corresponding to G.R. Case No.1832 of 2025 on the grounds stated. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. In response to the notice as at Annexure-2, the petitioner apprehends arrest even though the offences are bailable in nature as made to reveal from Annexure-1. Mr. Patnaik, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happens to be the owner of the vehicle in question involved in the accident, hence, he has been summoned vide Annexure-2. Recorded the submission of Ms. Sahu, learned AGA for the State. In view of the allegations in the F.I.R. and the vehicle was being driven by its driver at the relevant point of time when the alleged incident took place and not the petitioner, this Court in view of Annexure-2 though not inclined to interfere with any such enquiry pending at present pursuant thereto directs that there shall be no coercive action against him during such enquiry. It is further directed that in the event any such action is contemplated, the petitioner, who is the owner of the alleged vehicle, shall be allowed to go on bail with conditions. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of. It is directed that in the event of any contingency as apprehended, the petitioner shall be released on bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.414 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1832 of 2025 by the Arresting Officer on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/-(rupees thirty thousand) with one solvent surety for the like amount with the following conditions, such as, to cooperate in the investigation as and when summoned. 6.
