Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority. 3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in the school. The petitioner had applied for general transfer on distance ground. 4. Such application has been pending since November, 2025. The school authority has not taken any decision in the matter. 5. The Head of the institution namely, Ramesh Chandra High School (HS), (respondent no. 6) is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner by May 30, 2026 in accordance with law, strictly in line with the dictum of this Hon’ble Court in Gokul Chandra Mallick vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. (M.A.T. 1218 of 2024) and Rupak Dhua vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. (F.M.A. 995 of 2025). 2 6. If found eligible, the case of the petitioner shall be forwarded to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) by the school authorities along with the application and the requisite ‘No Objection’ certificate by June 15, 2026. The concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) shall take all consequential steps in accordance with law. 7. Temporary suspension of the ‘UTSASHREE’ portal will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an Offline mode. 8. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
