Lakshmi Narayana, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities. 2. Sri G. Lakshmi Narayana, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities, has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Commissioner of Dharmavaram Municipality, dated 08.04.2026 along with certain documents. Copies of it are supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same are taken on record. 3. Para 4 of the Written Instructions admits that the claim made by the Writ Petitioner is to an extent of Rs.1,42,677/- (Gross Amount). 4. Having regard to the facts that, admittedly, the Writ Petitioner had completed execution of the work during the years 2016–17, the Municipality has withheld a sum of Rs. 1,42,677/-. 5. Having regard to this fact, this Court deems it appropriate to allow this Writ Petition with a direction to all the Respondents, including Respondent Nos.2 & 3, to complete the entire Administrative process, both inter- departmental and intra-departmental, by way of mutual co-operation and coordination, within a period of one (01) week from the date of uploading of 3 the Order on the website of this Court, and to transfer the amount to the bank account of the Writ Petitioner within one (01) week thereafter. Since the amount has been withheld for a long time, any delay on the part of the Respondents will be viewed seriously by this Court. 6. The Writ Petitioner is directed to submit the bank account details to the Competent Authority within one (01) week from today for effective compliance. 7. With these observations and directions, the Writ Petition is allowed. No order as to costs. 8.
