Heard. Reference No.206/2015 was decided in petitioner’s favour under award dated 29.06.2018. In terms of the award, respondent-Public Works Department was directed to reinstate the petitioner forthwith. Petitioner was also held entitled to seniority and continuity in service from the date of his illegal termination except back wages.

Petitioner preferred an execution petition under Section 11(9) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 on 18.06.2024. His grievance is that despite several hearings down the line, the award has still not been implemented.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the learned Civil Judge, Court No.1, Sarkaghat, District Mandi (Camp at Dharampur) to decide the execution petition preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within two months from today. This order be brought to the notice of the concerned Court by the Registry forthwith.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
