Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed transfer order dated 05.11.2024 (Annexure P-3), in terms whereof, he was ordered to be transferred from GSSS Timbi, District Sirmour to GSSS Pulbahal, District Shimla. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had joined at GSSS Timbi in the month of September, 2023 and in terms of the impugned transfer order, he was 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:9273 transferred just after an year without permitting him to complete his normal tenure. 3. Perusal of the record demonstrates that this Court on 18.11.2024 stayed the operation of the impugned transfer order and on the strength thereof, the petitioner is continuing to serve at GSSS Timbi. 4. In light of the fact that the petitioner is going to complete his normal tenure now in the month of September, 2026, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall be allowed to serve at GSSS Timbi, District Sirmour till the month of September, 2026 and thereafter, the respondents shall be at liberty to pass appropriate orders for his transfer. Order dated 05.11.2024 (Annexure P-3) is quashed and set aside. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be given liberty, in the interregnum, to approach the Authority for his adjustment at some other station. Liberty, as prayed for, is granted to the petitioner. 6. The petition is disposed of, in above terms. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of 3 2026:HHC:9273 accordingly.
