1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for records pertaining to the promotion case of the petitioner. 10.2 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash and set aside the impugned promotion proposal dated 16.12.2025 (Annexure P/1) 10.3 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to prepare a combined seniority list of all eligible officers (employee) of the feeding cadre; 10.4 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct
consideration of the petitioner for promotion strictly in accordance with Chhattisgarh social welfare class 03 (executive) Promotion Rules,
2016. 10.5 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem fit.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as Teacher (hearing impaired) on 07.04.1998 by the then the Govt. of M.P. in the Department of Social Welfare. Petitioner thereafter had become eligible for the post of Assistant Director, however, the candidature of petitioner for promotion is not considered and therefore, petitioner had submitted representation vide Annexure P-5 dated 15.01.2026 before respondent no. 2 and 3, however till date the representation submitted by petitioner has not been considered and no decision has been taken, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 2 and 3 to consider
3 / 3 and take decision on pending representation within a specified time frame.

Learned counsel for State and learned counsel for respondent no. 3 submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, they are having no objection and if representation submitted by petitioner is still pending, it will be considered in accordance with law.

On due submission of counsel for the respective parties, without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of at this stage directing respondent no. 2 and 3 to take decision on pending representation /claim of petitioner Annexure P-5 dated 15.01.2026, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 03 months from the date of receipt of the order.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is
