In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant-Manpreet Singh, who has been accused in FIR No.18 of 2026, dated 21.01.2026 under Sections 8/20/60 of the NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Ramnagar, District Nainital. The Applicant is in judicial custody since 21.01.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that this Court has granted bail to the co- accused Rahul Singh vide order dated 11.02.2026 in the similar offence and the present applicant is also entitled to be released on bail on the ground of parity. 3. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail. 4. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant – Manpreet Singh, who has been accused in Case FIR No.18 of 2026, dated 21.01.2026 under Sections 8/20/60 of the NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Ramnagar, District Nainital, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
