The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of bills in respect of construction works which have been carried out by the petitioner. 2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having made a representation as far back as on 28 July, 2025, the concerned State respondents have taken no steps in the matter. 3. In such circumstances, the petitioner prays for expeditious consideration of his representation. The State respondents are represented and submit that the answering respondent is the Coochbehar Zilla Parishad and they be directed to consider the representation. 2 4. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, WPA/545/2026 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no.5 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from date of communication of this order. 5. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions insofar as the merits are concerned are left open for the concerned respondent authorities to be decided in accordance with law. 6. The State respondents are also requested to forward a copy of this order to the concerned Zilla Parishad for expeditious consideration. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
