Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record. 2. This appeal is directed against an order dated 26th February, 2026 passed by a Single Bench of this Court. The writ petition was filed by the borrower of the West Bengal Financial Corporation. The grievance of the petitioner was that after sale of the mortgage assets by the West Bengal Financial Corporation there 2 are sums are due and payable to the borrower. The rough value of the auction sale conducted by the West Bengal Financial Corporation is about 1.88 crores. The dues of the borrower according to the West Bengal Financial Corporation as on 23rd July, 2019 with interest charged upto 30th June, 2019 was Rs.1,75,62,536.95/-. The West Bengal Financial Corporation in addition thereto claimed cost charges and expenses and further interest. 3. The Single Bench dismissed the writ petition based on the State Financial Corporation Act, 1951. 4. In the interest of justice this Court directs the West Bengal Financial Corporation to furnish detailed accounts as on date to the borrower. The accounts shall indicate principal interest costs and charges applied by the corporation in the loan account of the appellant and if any sums refundable to the appellant, shall be made by the West Bengal Financial Corporation along with the accounts. Let such accounts indicated hereinabove be furnished to the appellants within a period of seven days from date. 5. Needless to mention in the event the borrower is aggrieved by any entry in the account statement of the West Bengal Financial Corporation, they may take out civil proceedings in accordance with law. 3 6. With the aforesaid observations, FMA 23 of 2026 is disposed of. Consequently, CAN 1 of 2026 is also disposed of. 7. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
