Mr. Rajpal Thakur, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents-State. 2. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for his transfer from Kaza to Head Quarter, Shimla against a vacancy, on the ground that he has completed a period of six and half years in tribal area. 3. On a query put to the learned Counsel, as to since when the petitioner is serving at his present place of posting in Kaza, the Court was told that he was posted at Kaza on promotion in the month of October, 2025. 4. That being so, the petitioner can approach the Authorities for his transfer on the ground that he is serving in present station in tribal area after completing the normal tenure at this particular station. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:15818 5. In light of the fact that the petitioner has presently not put in three summers and two winters at the present place of posting, the Court sees no reason to issue any mandamus to the respondents to transfer the petitioner to some other station. 6.
