Learned State Counsel points out that the term of the body was only for three years, as is apparent from the document enclosed at page no. 20 of the writ petition. Thus, he submits that the term of the body, which was elected in 2018 must have expired in 2021, therefore, according to him, the writ petition has become infructuous. 5. This Court finds substance in the said submission. 6. Since the body, election whereof was challenged in 2018, was elected only for three years, therefore, upon expiry of term of that body, the relief as claimed do not survive. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
