ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer:
"a. Issue direction to the I Metropolitan Magistrate Traffic Court, Bangalore to dispose off Crl.Misc 258/2017 within a time frame of 3 months, b. Grant such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity."
2. Heard Smt. Poornima H.S.,
learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and have perused the material on record.
3. In the light of the aforesaid prayer being innocuous, there is no need of hearing the respondent.

4. The petitioner is the respondent in a case instituted by the wife seeking Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 in Crl.Misc.No.258/2017.
5. A perusal at the order sheet would indicate plethora of adjournments being granted for the asking by the respondent's counsel.
6. In that light, the proceedings being pending for the last 9 years, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings with a direction to the concerned Court to dispose the proceedings within an outer limit of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
7. It is needless to observe that the parties to the lis shall co-operate with the concerned Court to conclude the proceedings in terms of the said direction.
8. In the event of non-cooperation, it is open to the concerned Court to proceed and pass necessary orders in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands
disposed.
