1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking following reliefs:-

“10.1. That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority specially the respondent no. 4 to decide the pending application dated 30.08.2007 of the petitioner filed under Section 18(2) of the Land Acquisition Act within stipulated time. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to re-calculate the amount of compensation and awarded it to the petitioner. 10.3 Any other relief, which may deem fit, in the interest of justice.”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for reference under Section 18(2) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 before concerned respondent-authority. Said application was filed way back in the year 2007, however, till date it has not been considered and decided. Hence, petitioner came-up before this Court with aforesaid reliefs/prayer. 3. Learned counsel for the Respondent/State submits that if any application of petitioner is pending, same will be considered and decided as per law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the records/documents enclosed along with the writ petition. 5. Considering facts of the case, nature of relief, submissions of counsel for the parties, the instant petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to consider the pending application of petitioner and to pass appropriate order as per applicable law/rule after
3 giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case. CC as per rules. Sd/-
