02/22.01.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the State.
2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 8(B), 18(B) and 29 of the NDPS Act and 33 Indian Forest Act, pending in the Court of the learned Court of Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that false allegation is made against the petitioners for cultivation of poppy plant in the forest land. He also submits that the land is of the forest department which is not belonging to the petitioners. It is next submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in para-16 of the petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that there is allegation of cultivation of poppy plant in the forest land.
5. Considering that the land is of the forest department that is not belonging to the petitioners and the petitioners have got no criminal

antecedents, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court of Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
