It is submitted that the Trial Court had rejected the petitioner’s bail because of a misstatement made that there was no earlier application for bail. It further appears that eight other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court. It appears from the report that the injuries are simple in nature. The petitioner is in custody for about 30 days. 2. Having regard to the fact that the most of the offences alleged against the petitioner are bailable except one, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 2 3. Accordingly, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 5,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tufanganj subject to the conditions that while on bail the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court regularly till disposal of the trial and the petitioner shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever and on further condition that the petitioner shall meet the Officer-in- Charge of the Tufanganj Police Station once in a month until further order and he shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Tufanganj Police Station without prior permission of the Officer-in-Charge/I.C. of the Tufanganj Police Station. 1. In the event the petitioner fails to comply with the aforesaid conditions as enshrined hereinabove, the bail of the petitioner shall automatically stand cancelled without any further reference to this Court. 2.
