Instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondent Nos.2 to 6 in not registering an FIR against Respondent Nos.7 & 8 pursuant to complaints of the petitioner dated 03.02.2026 and 06.02.2026 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Article 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India, consequentially direct Respondent Nos.2 to 6 to register an FIR against Respondent Nos.7 & 8 pursuant to complaints of the petitioner dated 03.02.2026 and 06.02.2026 and pass”. 2. Conspectus of facts in the present Writ Petition is that, despite the petitioner’s complaint to the police personnel, the respondent police are not acting upon the same by registering an FIR, thereby lodging criminal proceedings
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on the Written Instructions of the Station House Officer, Sricity Urban Police Station, submits that basing on the petitioner's complaint, police registered FIR in Crime No.17 of 2026 of Sri
4 City UPS Police Station, Tirupathi District and the investigation is going on. 4. At that juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the factum of registration of FIR. 5. Recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the respective parties to work out their legal remedies in accordance with law.
