Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State. 3. The petitioner’s limited grievance is that her application for demarcation of the land in question could not be acted upon because of disturbance allegedly created by the adjacent landowners. As a result, the demarcation is yet to concluded. If any disturbance is created by any person during demarcation, it is for the concerned authority to seek necessary police assistance and to carry out the work. There is no reason why the authorities should remain silent on the ground of disturbance being created by some persons in official work. 4. The writ petition is therefore, disposed of directing the Tahasildar, Sadar, Cuttack to conclude the demarcation in Demarcation Case No.104 of 2025 as early as possible, preferably within four weeks from today.
