(2) Petitioner has challenged a citation for recovery, issued by Tehsildar, Sadar, Dehradun on 30.10.2025, of ₹85,000/- + other charges. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had taken loan of ₹85,000/- from respondent no. 3 in the year 2002, however, due to certain personal difficulties, he could not repay the loan, therefore, on the request made by respondent no. 3, impugned recovery citation has been issued by Tehsildar. He submits that petitioner is ready and willing to repay the loan, provided some reasonable time is granted to him. (4) Having regard to the willingness expressed by the petitioner to liquidate the loan, writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to deposit ₹25,000/- with respondent no. 3 on or before 4.9.2026. Subject to petitioner depositing ₹25,000/- within the stipulated UKHC010135012026 2026:UHC:6881 time, he shall be permitted to deposit the remaining amount in four equal monthly instalments. Last instalment shall carry the component of interest. However, in case petitioner fails to abide by any of the aforesaid conditions, respondents shall be at liberty to proceed against him, as per law. (5) Subject to fulfilment of aforesaid conditions, no coercive measure shall be taken against the petitioner till January, 2027.
