The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “(i). For issuance of an appropriate writ, order, or direction, specifically a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Respondent No. 2 (The Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi) to hear and dispose of the pending Mutation Revision Case No. 58R15/2025-26 (titled Mukesh Nag vs. Smt. Sweta Kumari), as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a fixed time-bound period of two (02) months. (ii). For issuance of an appropriate order or direction that during the pendency of the said Mutation Revision Case No. 58R15/2025-26, an order of status quo be passed, directing all parties to maintain the status quo as it exists today with respect to the land in question, and specifically restraining the Private Respondents (Nos. 5 and 6) from alienating, encumbering, or creating any third-party rights over the land based on the illegal mutation orders.” 2026:JHHC:2708 3. The only prayer made by the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the revision being Mutation Revision Case No.58R15/2025-26 which is pending before the appropriate authority as per the Mutation Act. 4. In view of the above submission, no notice is required to be issued to the private respondent. 5. Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby, disposed of directing the concerned revisional authority to decide the pending revision as early as possible, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the affected parties in accordance with law. 6.
