Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following relief (s) :- “10.i) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to decide the pending representation (Annexure P-11) of the petitioner especially Respondent No.2 and 3. 10.2) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post from Deputy BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Digitally signed by BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN 2 Ranger to Ranger with all consequential benefits as juniors to the petitioner have already been promoted in the month of November, 2025 (Annexure P-8). 10.3) That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem fit and appropriate.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that pursuant to the representation/application submitted by petitioner, seniority of petitioner has been corrected and he is placed at appropriate place in gradation list, however, he has not been considered for promotion from the post of Deputy Ranger to Ranger. Aggrieved with which, petitioner has submitted representation dated 25.12.2025 (Annexure P-11), before respondent No.2, which till date is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to concerned authorities to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner within shortest possible time as petitioner is due to retire on 30.06.2026. 3. Learned State counsel submits that as petitioner is not pressing this petition on merits and are only seeking a direction to decide the pending representation submitted by petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents available on record. 5. On due consideration on the submission of learned counsel for respective parties and nature of relief as prayed for, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within further period of 3 one month from the date of receipt of this order keeping in mind the date of superannuation of petitioner. 6.
