No. 717 of 2022 ORDER: The writ petition transferred from Appellate Tribunal is filed to quash or set aside the Proc. No. E1 / 295 / 2018-3, dated 29.06.2018 issued by the respondent No. 2 in so far as promotion of the unofficial respondent is concerned and consequently, hold that the applicant is entitled to promotion to the post of Senior Assistant w.e.f. the date on which the unofficial respondent was promoted to the said post, with all consequential and attendant benefits. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had addressed a letter dated 04.09.2026 to the counsel with a request to withdraw the writ petition stating that she had received the notice from this High Court as per the docket order dated 26.10.2024, and that the matter is required to be cleared at the earliest, so that pending issue may be resolved and further action, as required, can be taken up without any hurdle. A memo dated 11.09.2026 was field by the petitioner vide WP(AT)USR. No.105945 of 2026, enclosing a copy of the letter. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner is present before the Court and confirmed the memo noted above. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
