HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14633 WP No. 7116 of 2026 CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader is directed to take notice for respondent Nos.1 to 4. Notice to other respondents is not necessary for the following reasons:
2. Learned High Court Government Pleader raises a preliminary objection that the order impugned is passed by respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Doddaballapura Taluk, although by issuance of an endorsement rejecting the representation given by the petitioner, who sought deletion of the names of private respondents herein from the RTC. Such an order passed by the Tahsildar would amount to an order passed under Section 129 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short 'the Act') which is appealabe before the Assistant Commissioner under Section 136(2) of the Act. 3.
Upholding the submission of the learned High Court Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Assistant Commissioner to redress her grievance. - 4 -
